Ordering a Skip Exchange

Instructions

  1. To order an exchange, click book a skip from the home page to choose an option or select Skips from the main menu and choose which skip size you require.
  2. You will now see a variety of waste types to choose from. You can filter by waste type or code to find the right skip.
  3. Once you have chosen the correct waste type and Skip size, click on select options to start configuring your service.
  4. You now have various options to tailor your collections.
  5. To begin, select whether you require a permit or not.
  6. Any Skip which is not situated on private land requires a permit from your local authority. If we deliver your skip to a location which requires a permit, and no permit has been purchased, your order will be cancelled with no refunds. You will then need to re-order your skip with the appropriate permit. Please consider this carefully before continuing.
  7. Now select the duration you require for hire. Skips are available for up to four weeks and will be collected any time after your chosen duration whether it is ready to be collected or not. It is your responsibility to use and fill the skip within the duration selected.
  8. Next, select the date you would like your Skip to be delivered. Please note we will do our best to match your requested date. However, if we cannot provide your skip on this date, we will contact you to confirm a new delivery date.
  9. If you have specific delivery information such as unsuitable times of day, access restrictions, or other relevant information, please enter them into the Delivery Information box and we will do our best to meet your requirements.
  10. In Order Type, select I have and existing SkipsAndBins.com skip to be exchanged. Please enter your existing skip order number. We will then arrange to collect your existing Skip and deliver your new one at the same time. This allows your service to keep running and you can continue to dispose of waste without any interruptions.
  11. Before you can add the service to the basket, you must agree to the service confirmation. This shows you have checked and agree that the waste type is correct for the type of waste you wish to dispose of, and that your preferred date is not guaranteed. By agreeing you are also confirming you have read and agree to the weight allowances, and extra charges information. For more information, click on the skip waste types tab, or visit the information menu and click on waste types.
  12. You will now see the price for your chosen service.
  13. Go ahead and click add to basket.
  14. At the basket page, you have the option to continue to the checkout.
